UI/UX design is now a standalone engagement, not just a phase

Design used to be something we did as the first phase of a build. Over the past year, enough clients asked for design work on its own, ahead of a build decision or for an internal team to implement, that we've made it a standalone engagement. The output is the same token-based design system and tested prototypes we've always delivered, just decoupled from a commitment to build. A few of these engagements have since turned into full builds; most haven't, and that's fine. If you need a design system your team can implement without hiring us to build it, this is now an explicit option rather than something you had to ask for.
